Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID) is a state-owned electric utility company in India that was established in 1989. It is headquartered in Gurugram, Haryana and is responsible for transmitting about 50% of the total power generated in India on its transmission network.

The company operates more than 161,000 circuit kilometers of transmission lines and over 248 substations with a transformation capacity exceeding 393,830 MVA.
